Terms of Service

Parabellum Arena (“we”, “us”), an Invictus company, operates the skill-based multiplayer arena game at play.parabellumarena.com (the “Service”). By creating an account or playing, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service, and you confirm this when you create your account. You may not use the Service where doing so is prohibited by law.

2. Play money

All contests on the Service are currently played with PLAY, a virtual currency with no cash value. PLAY cannot be purchased, sold, transferred, exchanged, or redeemed for money or anything of value. We grant PLAY for free, may cap how much an account can hold, and may adjust or reset balances at any time. PLAY is a feature of the Service, not property.

3. Real-money contests

We do not currently offer contests with real-money entry fees or cash prizes. If we introduce them, they will be available only in jurisdictions where skill-based contests are permitted, will require identity and location verification, and will be governed by additional terms published before launch.

4. Your account

You may play as a guest and later secure your account with an email address. One account per person. Keep your account to yourself — you are responsible for everything that happens under it. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

5. Fair play

The Service is a game of skill, and we protect that. You agree not to use bots, scripts, macros, or other automation to play; exploit bugs; collude with other players; or interfere with the Service or other players. We record the inputs and outcome of every match and review them for integrity. We may void matches, reverse results, and remove accounts that cheat.

6. Computer-controlled players

Some play-money lobbies include computer-controlled opponents so matches start without long waits. They compete under the same rules as everyone else and never take part in any contest involving real money.

7. Content and ownership

The Service, including the game, artwork, code, and branding, belongs to Parabellum Arena. You keep ownership of your username and anything else you submit, and grant us a licence to display it within the Service. Don’t pick a username that impersonates someone else or is abusive.

8. Availability and changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, including match rules, PLAY balances, ratings, and leagues. We may update these terms; the date above tells you when. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. Matches can be interrupted by connection problems, server faults, or maintenance; where a match is voided, PLAY entry fees are returned.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Parabellum Arena is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Because PLAY has no cash value, our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you have paid us for the Service in the past twelve months (currently nothing) and US$100.
